School calendar of the academic year 2024/2025

E. Infantil and e. Primary

School activities (full day) will begin on 9 September 2024 and end on 18 June 2025. (from 9’00h. to 17’00h. inclusive).

o Time extension from 8’00h to 18’00h, upon communication.

E. Secondary and Bachillerato

The course will start on September 9, 2023 and end on June 18, 2024. (from 9’00h. to 14’05h. and from 15’10h. to 17’00h, inclusive).

Vacation periods

CHRISTMAS from December 23, 2024 to January 6, 2025, inclusive.

PASCUA from 18 April to 28 April 2025, inclusive.

Holidays:

• October 9, Valencian Community Day
• October 12, National Festival of Spain
• December 6, Constitution Day
• March 19, San Jose

*Local holidays: pending confirmation.

GENERAL TIME (staggered entry)::

Transport

Bus itineraries will be indicated to interested parties in the first week of September.

Students of all courses and levels who come in private vehicles will record their entry and exit from the center with their tutor every day.

Please note that the center doors will be closed except for the following hours:

• Mornings: from 8’00h to 9’30h. Afternoon: from 16’30h to 17’15h.

Evaluations

The course is distributed in quarterly periods, at the end of each of which the evaluation will be carried out. In 3rd and 6th Grade and Compulsory Secondary Education, it will also be mandatory to make an initial and final assessment

TIC/AGENDA

Digital tools meet three objectives:

1. help teachers improve their teaching methods;
2. integrate parents into their children’s learning process;
3. When the computer, ipad, tablet or mobile is needed, the parents will be prompted. The rest of the time, THEY SHOULD NOT BE BROUGHT TO SCHOOL.

Communication with families

Through phone or whatsapp with tutoring/teachers/teachers, to whom contact phones will be provided for quick and close follow-up communication as an agenda.

Books and school material

Listings are sent attachments again for you to purchase directly. The school supplies are provided by the school (250 euros /annual), the payment of which is made by the usual means before September.

Uniform

All students of all courses will be duly uniformed every day (Uniform store: Geles: C/ del Gral. San Martín, 12, L’Eixample, 46004 València, Valencia.

We have a uniform for the following reasons;

• To enable the children to take a pride in their appearance.
• To enable the children to feel they are part of a community.
• To prevent competition, arguments and peer pressure between children.
• To ensure that clothing is practical, safe and appropriate for learning.
• To help promote high standards which is reflected throughout their work.

• Children’s and Primary Welcome Party September 7 (internal: each student will bring a flower plant to take care of the whole course in their spaces)
